Hi, I’m Trinity Newell—a communicator, creative, and advocate through and through.
From waking up to Good Morning America and SportsCenter as a kid to leading conversations and shaping narratives in college, media has always been part of my world. I’m a proud Communication and Mass Media Arts graduate with a passion for storytelling, justice, and culture. My journey hasn’t been linear—it’s been bold, challenging, and full of purpose.
Whether writing my “Trinity Talks” column, leading my campus’ Black Student Association, or standing my ground (sometimes literally) in moments of advocacy, I’ve always believed in using my voice to make space for others, and tell the stories of those without a voice.
I’m someone who doesn’t just show up—I shift the room. I know how to navigate power, build community, and tell stories that matter.
